Rainbow Chard micro cress is an ideal garnish for pork tenderloin, veal, chicken, quail and game. Furthermore, this microgreen is especially compatible with Mediterranean cuisine, enhancing mixed green fresh salads with its earthy beet flavour. Generally, any flavour that works well with spinach will partner with our micro chard range, including butter, lemon, cream, garlic, shallots and vinaigrette. Micro Rainbow Chard is compared to spinach, as mentioned before, but it’s generally considered to be better tasting, with a rich earthy flavour. Micro Chard is commonly used raw, to showcase the greens unique and vibrant colouring.

Taste: Rainbow Chard reveals a colourful personality with a very tender texture. The firm leaves are mild, sweet, earthy and slightly bitter. The blend of mild, earthy and subtly sweet flavours of beetroot and spinach, makes this garnish popular with many dishes.
