Apple Blossom edible flowers can be used to garnish many desserts such as, brownies, sponges and biscuits. The petals can also be used to add a sharp citrus flavour to many fine dining dishes, including seafood. In addition, steep Apple Blossom in hot water to make tea, jelly, aromatic vodka, or cordial. Produce Business UK suggests to infuse whipped cream or ice cream with the petals to go over an apple tart, or to float the blossoms in a fruit punch. Others recommend using the flowers as an ingredient in scallops, meat and seafood dishes, as their acidity offsets the richness.

Taste: Apple Blossom is a very versatile edible flower and slightly more robust than some of our other edible flowers. The petals and stem both have highly aromatic apple notes and a citrus and sour flavour, with hints of honeysuckle. Many chefs use Begonia flowers to replace rhubarb, because there is a slight sweetness to them both.
