Micro Garlic Chives are intended to use as a fresh edible garnish. It’s common that the mature bunched Chive herb is cut, but Garlic Chives should be kept whole when using as a garnish. The delicate texture of the micro cress adds a thread of vibrant green colour to finished dishes. Use the Micro Chives on dishes including omelettes, soups, salads, sushi, bruschetta and canapés, as well as meat dishes and potato salads. They can also be stirred through butters. When looking at ingredients to pair this microgreen with, they go well with other fresh herbs, including Tarragon, Chervil and Parsley. Not to mention, it also compliments ingredients like cheese, crème fraîche, mushrooms, eggs and poultry.

Taste: Garlic Chives micro cress are very thin and needle-like in appearance. They have a very small black seed still attached to the tip. Their texture is crunchy and juicy whilst their flavour is true to their name. The flavour has a strong garlic kick, which is then mixed with a spicy and grassy note.
