Micro Daikon Radish is known for its heart shaped leaves. In addition to this it’s also known for its feature in Japanese cuisine. Do be careful with this microgreen, as like others if exposed to high heat for a prolonged period of time, Daikon Radish micro cress will wilt. It’s therefore best to be used as a garnish, sprinkled on dishes at the last minute. Micro Daikon Radish is best used for savoury preparations. The micro cress can be added to sandwiches and salads to give a spicy kick. Alternatively, it can be used to garnish dishes including curries and Pad Thai, as well as sweet and sour dishes. It pairs particularly well with peppers, carrots, eggplant, seafood, beef and poultry. Koppertcress suggests pairing this microgreen with tuna, salmon and mackerel.

Taste: Micro Daikon Radish cress has smooth, juicy and crisp edible leaves. The flavour of the micro herb itself is bold and vibrant. It starts with a refreshing and grassy flavour, then finishes with a lingering peppery heat.
