Sweetcorn shoots are best used as a raw application, to keep their shape and flavour. Corn shoots struggle to withstand high heat culinary preparations. The sweet flavour and unique colour allows the shoots to be used in either sweet or savoury dishes. They can be used to elevate a variety of dishes including, meat, salads, desserts and even sandwiches. These particular shoots are able to achieve such a vibrant yellow colour from being grown in the dark. Therefore they create a perfect contrast for chocolate desserts and beetroot appetisers. Use Sweetcorn shoots for a beautiful and bright presentation, adding a unique sweetener to salads, desserts and meats.
